Guess where I went??

Clue: I went with a bunch of friends…and we are all in our 20’s.
Clue #2: Its classic…where else would a bunch of 20-somethings go that is cheap?

A CARNIVAL CRUISE OF COURSE!

So here goes…

~ARRIVAL~ Fly, arrive, find our guy friends who DROVE (crazy boys, why would you drive when it’s almost cheaper to fly? Oh yeah, roundtrip tickets were only $130 taxes and all!), board, get settled…I’ll skip all the lameness of laying out, relaxing, sipping on my favorite tropical vacation drink (Strawberry daiquiri/pina colada), free room service, 24-hour pizza and ice-cream, all day buffet’s, etc…

~EnSeNaDa!~ Sound’s exciting doesn’t it? Well, its not. I don’t want to be too pessimistic but in my humble opinion it was a pointless port. Nothing to see, nothing to do… oh but Ensenada does deserve some credit— apparently the Margarita was discovered/created there many years ago. Personally, I have no desire to have a Margarita, but good job Ensenada. So, the majority of the day was spent on the ship. And this marks they day we meet ASA(pronounced ace-a). Asa—the supposed rich, handsome young man who hits on my best friend Kaydee. How could you resist such a catch? Well, you will find out…

~SwInGiN on the Ship~ That’s right…we chose to spend our ship day laying out of course and enjoying the ship’s many amenities, one being the hot tub and who better to join us than a group of swingers! And may I just say, wow. I didn’t know such a thing really existed, at least not in public. All I can say is…I can’t share everything that happened without this being rated R, or worse. I’ll just say they were very public about their sexuality and the fact that they liked to share each other…..by taking turns doing things to each other. I must end there. They all wore bright pink bracelets and called their group a ‘community church group’ out on vacation. :) Nice eh?

~Asa continued…~ Words cannot describe him, but I will do my best by posting some questions he felt inclined to impress Kaydee with. Of course, this is after he bragged about his CEO position of who-knows what company and splendid Newport housing…
“So…do you ride horse’s English style?”
“Who are you here with? We're just here with a few models from Newport…”
“Where are you guys seated for dinner? Come sit with us, I’ll arrange it—I’m friends with the Maitre-de.”
Impressed yet? Or shall I continue…
“What are you doing in Cabo? We’re going Marlin fishing, have you ever been? NO, really??”
“Have you been to the casino yet? How much are you up? I’m up twenty-five thousand…”
My thoughts here…who rides horses English style unless maybe you LIVE IN ENGLAND?
Models, eh? Then what are you doing wasting your time hitting on any of us for? Friends with the Maitre-de? Is that why when we met you for dinner he totally denied your request to be seated at a private table and managed to squeeze us into a table with 6 other people on it? —may I insert, the following day when Jess, Kaydee, and I asked the Maitre-de for a new seating assignment, if at all possible, to escape a creep we were stuck with, he immediately found a private table for us, on the opposite side of the room, and cared enough to check up on us to make sure the creep hadn’t found us—
Have we ever been Marlin fishing???? You’re surprised that we haven’t as if it’s a common thing for people like us??
And finally, you’re up $25,000 at the casino? Funny, we saw you gambling and noticed that you had lost all your money and had to BORROW $150 from your friend. Not to mention, the highest bet you could place is $200 dollars. We’re on a cruise ship for hells sake! There’s no high profile betting going on here!
What……a…….fool. Who did he think he was talking to? Some idiotic buffoons? Crazy Ace.

~CaBo SaN LuCaS~ We really missed out on Marlin fishing, and instead went on a snorkeling tour, went to a secluded beach, saw a ton of sea lions barking and fighting with each other, and the highlight—WHALES!!!! We could not have wished for a better surprise! Our catamaran captain was kind enough to turn the boat around and follow the whale that was spotted, not only did it jump once, and not only was their one whale but a MOM and BABY! It was precious…the mom was just following the baby whale that jumped at least 10 times! It was the most awesome thing I have ever seen! Ahhh… if only I hadn’t forgotten my camera. Loved loved loved…amazing day!

~Its BRITNEY B!oTCH!~ The finale of the cruise…ah. I am still in disbelief. So as anyone who has been on a cruise knows, it is full of Karoke…all night, every night! What else could a drunk want more than to get up in front of a large crowd of people and sing their heart out? And what would anyone enjoy more than to watch that? Well, every night people competed to be a certain star, singing the same song, and whoever did best by crowd yells wins. Well one night it was BRITNEY SPEARS “Hit me baby, one more time…” being plastered by all the plastered girls trying to sing it. So urged by my friends, I decided to go show them whats up! With surprise (also being the only BLOND girl trying) I won. Little did I know, as the winner it was my “privilege”, and I suppose “prize” to spend the last few days of the trip memorizing the song, attending rehearsal, and PERFORMING IN THE LAST SHOW of the cruise! AAAAAAH. WTH? Well I went through with it because what the heck, I might as well. But my goodness, the least they could do is comp an excursion or SOMETHING. We were providing their best entertainment, for FREE. And what did we get? A free picture from the cruise line. THANK YOU CARNIVAL! THAT IS SOOOO SWEET OF YOU! Bahumbug…what a waste of the last day. But at least I can say I was Britney Spears for a day. People even recognized me and we’re excited to talk to me as if I was a celeb for a day. Funny.

So all in all, quite the fun trip. It is the first and only ‘Friend Trip’ I have ever been on. I loved it. We have decided to make it a yearly occurrence. Where shall we go next year?

PS--in a last ditch effort to win over Kaydee's heart, Asa decided to have a slice of birthday cake sent to her the last dinner of the cruise. Hmmm... we were already eating dessert as everyone was, and its all FREE, and its not her damn birthday!!! Geeez, atleast send her a drink or something that takes EFFORT or money--since he had so much!

I can't believe you and your family feel so comfortable performing. I admire that....but would never do it. CODO's to you!

Bwahahahaha! I still can't get over that Asa idiot. I am so entertained by compulsive liars. And since you didn't post pics, can I see them at home?
